Prenatal Wellness Program

To mark the birth of the CWC, we are currently developing a comprehensive Prenatal Wellness Program. Pregnancy is the ideal point of intervention in human development, a rare opportunity to create the next generation of entirely healthful human beings. The program will produce an honest guide on nutrition, another for prenatal yoga, as well a guide to natural options for labor.

Honest Prenatal Nutrition Guide

The Honest Prenatal Nutrition Guide contains indispensable nutrition suggestions and warnings for all stages of pregnancy, including post-natal. The guide covers what nutrients are essential, what to avoid, the effects of supplements and where expectant mothers can find them.
There is a vital necessity to inform modern mothers-to-be about prenatal nutrition. Presently, conventional healthcare falls short of a more holistic program to optimize diets during pregnancy. Beyond folic acid supplements, very little info is offered about nutrition for expectant mothers.

The resulting nutritional deficiencies have been phenomenal. Children are still being born with rickets, a disease of simply vitamin D deficiency; expectant mothers chronically deficient in zinc, magnesium, chromium and omega-3 fatty acids are predisposing their newborns to lives of diabetes, depression and heart disease, amongst other problems.

To make matters worse, many expectant mothers are consuming toxic food additives and chemicals that directly promote birth defects, cancers and low-weight babies. Such additives and chemicals include MSG (monosodium glutamate), aspartame, hydrogenated oils and chemical preservatives. Conventional medicine remains relatively silent on this issue and has made virtually no effort to warn expectant mothers about the long-term health consequences of consuming these common food and beverage ingredients.

The HPNG warns expectant mothers and their families about the health hazards of toxic food additives while educating them about healthful properties of natural foods and quality nutritional supplements.

By supporting this program, you will help us create, print and distribute educational materials that will inform expectant mothers of these important dietary ramifications. The HPNG will be distributed to websites, magazines, newspapers, birthing centers and hospitals across the world, and will be available as a PDF, letter-sized printout and convenient wallet size.

Health Freedom Program: Nutritional Supplements

The current regulatory environment for health products in the United States strongly favors the promotion of patented pharmaceuticals while censoring truthful and scientifically validated statements about the healing properties of natural foods and nutritional supplements. For example, when U.S. cherry growers posted web links to published, peer-reviewed scientific studies highlighting the anti-inflammatory properties of phytonutrients naturally found in cherries, the Food and Drug Administration threatened those cherry growers with aggressive regulatory action if they did not remove such links.

Our Health Freedom program seeks to reverse this policy of controlled ignorance by open publishing true health reports and statements about foods and supplements that marketers of such products cannot publish themselves. In doing so, we aim to establish an independent, non-commercial, third-party website destination that will finally tell the truth about nutritional supplements, even when the publication of such truths is not desirable by the FDA or the drug companies it claims to regulate.

The program is designed to serve the interests of public health by granting consumers access to accurate information about nutritional therapies or products that can prevent disease, halt degenerative health conditions and even entirely reverse many diseases that are primarily based on diet such as heart disease and diabetes.

Directed by Mike Adams, the executive director of the CWC and News Target, this particular Health Freedom program aims to provide consumers with more information about nutritional supplements. By opening access to such information we will ultimately reduce our nation's health care costs, both financial and biological.
